ACE Mentor Chicago - Team 5
The ACE Mentor Program is an after-school program for Chicago area students to gain exposure to the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering careers. I have participated in ACE Mentor since 2015 and it has been great to see students get excited about future careers in the industry. Our team has been awarded numerous accolades over the years thanks to the many dedicated team members that go above and beyond to give the students a great experience.
Aeron Chair Hockey
Aeron Chair Hockey is an event hosted by Interior Investments and benefits the Special Olympics. As part of the VDT team over the past years, we have had a blast participating in this event. Always fun to have a little competition against other companies in the architecture, engineering, construction, and real estate industry.
Bike to Work Challenge
The Bike to Work Challenge is a yearly event to encourage biking. This past year due to the pandemic, participants were able to bike within their neighborhoods and communities to collect points. Our team at VDT rallied to take first place in our division. It was a great team effort and a lot of fun along the way.
